National Operations Network launches a new Facebook Group.

National Operations Network is proud to announce that we have launched a new Facebook Group called Gippsland Security Watch.

The group aims to notify members of what crimes have happened around Gippsland with the view to help and assist each other against the fight on crime.

Members are encouraged to participate with there own contributions from crimes that have happened in Gippsland and together we can assist each other in reducing crimes or retrieving stolen goods.

In 2020, across Gippsland there is has been an increase of 6.6% in criminal incidents compared to 2019. You can see specific stats for each local government that makeup Gippsland below:

  • Baw Baw: +8.1%
  • Latrobe: +2.7%
  • Wellington: +13.5%
  • East Gippsland: +10.2%
  • South Gippsland: +13.5%
  • Bass Coast: +2.7%

Key hotspots include Bairnsdale, Warragul, Wonthaggi, Leongatha, Morwell & Traralgon.

With Christmas right on our doorstep and people now able to travel around the country, now than ever we need to help each other in reducing our crime rates.
